Fike Adventures

Where each day is an adventure, life is NEVER boring, and we find JOY in the little things.

I am greatly disappointed with our government today. We have seen a peaceful protest turn into a riot… mostly made up of antifa that infiltrated the protest. Several people have posted about seeing busses with antifa members. These people came on purpose to give Trump supporters a bad name.

Then you have the DC mayor, calling in the national guard immediately, and congress demanding that those who breached security be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. How soon the forget that they refused national guard help when BLM and antifa were burning down the city and desicrating monuments. How soon they forget the riots of less than a year ago that they allowed to continue as freedom of speech and expressing themselves.

Honestly, watching this, I got a terrible migraine when they breached the capitol. I had to go lay down for several hours. I had to walk away. I needed to be away from the lies and obvious disregard for our constitution.

When I got up, they were getting ready to reconvene. Then there were senators who were planning to object, now caving to the drama of the day, and changed their plan.

We need to remember that this is a spiritual war, and God is in control. God never changes. He has a plan. God has allowed people to go through difficult times in the past, but He was with them. If Trump loses, God will still be with us. God promised that He will be with us. This very well could be God setting the scene for Jesus’s return. Things have been falling into place. Watch for His coming. Keep your faith in God, and trust His plan.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. Exodus 14:13
