Our family loves to paint and hide kindness rocks. We love to write encouraging words and sayings on them to brighten someone’s day. My kids do most of the hiding. They leave them anywhere we go. They mostly leave them on the side of curbs or next to trees or benches, but sometimes they are more creative where they leave them. We make sure that they are not a tripping hazard. If we leave them on the way into a store, most of the time, they are gone when we come out of the store. It is always fun if we see someone pick it up and “find” it.
Proverbs 23:11 “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.”
That little kind word may be just what that someone needed that very moment. You may never know how much a little kindness does for a person.
