Yes, this is personal experience TODAY!

One of my kids decided that regular Palmolive DISH SOAP would be a great substitute for DISHWASHER soap! Needless to say…bubbles everywhere and loud noises from the dishwasher…not good!

So my husband, who was at work~lol, forwarded this link to me so that I could “fix” the dishwasher…LOL… 
After I did all the dishes from inside and all the ones that did not fit in the dishwasher before all of this “drama”…I followed the instructions at this site….

I started with about 2 cups of vinegar and lots of salt and let it run a few minutes…still some bubbles… 
so I added about half cup of olive oil and let it run a few more minutes…NO MORE BUBBLES!!!!! 
I am letting it finish out the wash cycle so that it will clear the pipes/tubes and whatever else is involved in the “works”
