Fike Adventures

Where each day is an adventure, life is NEVER boring, and we find JOY in the little things.

I have been making this recipe for years. It is fairly easy and very similar to the CFA cole slaw. There are only minor differences. Here is where you can download the recipe card directly from CFA: http://thechickenwire.chick-fil-a.com/Food/An-Ode-to-Cole-Slaw

Ingredients

8 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp yellow mustard

1/2 tsp salt

2 cups mayonnaise

1 medium size head of cabbage finely chopped in the food processor (into little squares-not shredded).

1/2 cup finely diced carrots.

Directions

Whisk the first two ingredients together until the sugar is dissolved.

Add the mustard, salt and mayonnaise and whisk together until combined.

Add the carrots and cabbage.

Stir gently until combined.

  • Note:It is best made the day before and chilled overnight. I store it in a gallon sized ziplock and flip the bag over every time I go to the fridge to “stir” the ingredients.
